Snip-Snip
Centanni and Wiig got of easy. Most 16th and 17th Century accounts of imprisoned Westerners converting to Islam end in the Westerner being castrated, or "barbared," after converting. In such accounts converts are often sodomized as well.
Of course, the early modern approach to journalism was only slightly less concerned about authenticating facts than a Reuters photography editor.
