For whom would our heroes vote...

So this is what it's like to move from posting random comments to being allowed to play with the real blog, eh?

Being as this is my first official post, I figured I ought to make it a good one.

But instead, I will propose the following...

Whom would your favorite fictional characters vote for in the upcoming election? You can feel free to cross genres or time periods, but I personally have had a lot of fun thinking about how our heroes from the 80s would be handling the issue.

For example, who in the Joe team would be against Kerry for his military history? More interesting, which Joes would be supporting him? Would Roadblock swing with the African American majority vote? Would Scarlett be voting for woman's rights? Would Shipwreck even know it was an election year?

Perhaps more political provocative, given all the support Kerry has been receiving from the seedier corners of the globe, is it a safe bet that Cobra Commander would be using his funds to bakc a Kerry win? Would the Dreadnaughts be playing their hypno-instruments in a concert sponsored by Moveon.org?

It's a scary thought that a real terrorist like bin Laden or a tyrant like Kim might prefer a Kerry victory, but does it hit home a little closer to home to imagine Cobra backing that horse? How about you throw Skeletor and Megatron into the mix? Is it looking scary yet?
